the original enclosed porches of this early 1900’s home had fallen into deep disrepair. the owner wanted to update the addition without losing any space. they also wanted to expose a previously covered window, the only window in a bedroom.

we built off of existing geometry, and used traditional detailing to redesign the rear addition. this renovation/ rebuild was the bass note for a back yard landscaping renovation. including a sana, firepit, pergola, and outdoor kitchen.

ABA saw this project from conceptual design through construction. as a project in Denver’s Potter Highlands Landmark neighborhood, we achieved landmark approval before receiving the building permit.
